She was predeceased by: her parents, Andy Benner and Iva Featherston Hale; her husband Albert Edward Scott; her son Terry Tippit; and her brother David Benner.
She is survived by: her son Dee Tippit (Cindy); her stepdaughter Sharon Scott; her sister Myrtle Ann Hefner; and her grandchildren, Elliott Tippit, Amanda Tippit, Aaron Tippit, Chasiti Tippit Gomez and Destiny Tippit. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
