She was predeceased by: her parents, Jasper Cora and Ethel Crawford Blasingame; and her son-in-law Larry E. Hughes. She is survived by: her husband Olen B. Scott; her daughter Glenda Hughes; her granddaughters, Misty Birdwell and Shelly Freidrich (Marek); her great grandchildren, Taylor Birdwell, Ashley Birdwell, Matthew Birdwell, Jacob Birdwell, Joseph Freidrich and Rachel Freidrich; and her niece Sue Cornil (Warren). She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
