He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Earl Carter and Ruby Elizabeth Williams of Gatesville; his siblings, Shirley Azziza and Bobby Hamilton; and his son Ronnie Evans.
He is survived by: his wife Stephanie Culberson; his sons, Andrew Evans and Robert Evans (Bianca); and his siblings, Ruby Brown (Lawrence) and Harry Culberson (Crystal). He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
