She is survived by: her brother James C. Beeman; her sons, William T. Carpenter of Anderson and Jay C. Carpenter of Dallas; her daughter-in-law Andria Carpenter; and her granddaughters, Madison Simonson of Dallas, Savannah Carpenter and Mekenzie Carpenter of Greenville, SC..

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Live Oak Baptist Church or St. Judes Children's Hospital.
