She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Watson and Florene Schwalbe Watson; her husband R. D. Nichols; and her brothers-in-law, Jimmy Reid, Wesley Nichols and Jack Nichols.
She is survived by: her sons, Todd Nichols (Donna) and Andy Nichols; her sisters, Marsha Reid and Sandy Newsom (Neil); her sisters-in-law, Lettie Robinett and Doris Nichols; and her niece Joyce Pruitt. She is also survived by five grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren.
