He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Lofland and Myrtle Bird Lofland; his former wife Mary Jane; his son Ambrose Lofland (Amby); and his siblings, Roy Lofland, Norman Lofland and Bonnie Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Anita Lofland; his children, Chad Lofland of Temple and Christy Ruff of Dekalb; and his stepchildren, Ronnie Lofland, Ronda Hall and Jason Lofland. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and numerous step grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Scott's Funeral Home (2425 E Main St, Gatesville, TX 76528). A graveside service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Davidson Cemetery (2030 FM1829, Gatesville, TX 76528).
