She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl Rudolf Drosche and Frieda Drosche (Tolkmitt); her brother Carl Drosche (Sonny); and her brothers-in-law, Ralph Sohns, Lawrence Sohns and Edwin Knoernschild.
She is survived by: her husband Wilbert J. Sohns (Will); her sons, Stephen J. Sohns (Ursula) of Spring and Michael A. Sohns (Julia) of The Grove; her grandchildren, Aaron Sohns of Spring, Benjamin Sohns (Jessica) of Spring, David Sohns of Spring, Kristen Bristow of Georgetown, Nicole Lam (Jeff) of Waco and Connor Sohns of Gatesville; her great grandchildren, Lincoln, Lenabell Bristow, Adam and Lauren Lam; her sisters, Ella Nora Sohns, Louise Drosche and Iona Knoernschild; her nephews, Jimmy Sohns (Sharon), Tim Sohns (Stephanie), Robert Sohns (Cheryl), Rick Sohns and Jeff Knoernschild; her niece Paula Weinberg (Harold); and also Joan Sohns.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Paul Lutheran Church (220 The Grove Rd, Gatesville, TX 76528).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are encouraged to be directed to the Memorial Fund at St. Paul Lutheran Church for memorial trees to be planted on the church grounds.
