He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Featherston and Estelle Featherston; and his siblings, Bettie Hooker, Catherine Smith and JW Featherston (Scoopy).
He is survived by: his wife Karon Featherston; his children, Kristi Hawkins (Scotty), Lori High (Chris) and Mark Featherston (Anamelia); his grandchildren, Colton Hawkins, Reese Hawkins, Maysea Edmond, Preslea Edmond, Cameron High and Michaela High; his great grandchildren, Blayze Laidley, Braelynn Kruse, Piper Sheets and Georgia Hawkins; his siblings, Ray Featherston (Sandy), Leslie Featherston (Linda), Nancy Thompson, Martha James and Ruby Barnard; and his close friend Tootie. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and good friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Scott's Funeral Home (2425 E Main St, Gatesville, TX 76528). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Ballard Cemetery.
