It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Greg E. Demmitt of Gatesville, Texas, born in Wilmington, Ohio, who passed away on October 29, 2023, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Dwaine Demmitt. He is survived by: his mother Joyce Overholser Demmitt; his wife Karen Demmitt of Springfield; his children, Daniel Demmitt, Allison Valenzuela (Eric) and Michael Demmitt; his grandchildren, Robbie, Ryan and Elias Valenzuela; and his brothers, Alan Demmitt, Kevin Demmitt (Audrey), David Demmitt (Debbie) and John Demmitt (Brittany).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Cornerstone Church, 338 State School Road, Gatesville, TX 76528.
