She was predeceased by: her parents, Franz Winter and Hildegard Winter (Weisser); her husband Charles E. Houston; her daughter Viola H. Thompson; and her sister Gretel Wegner.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Houston (Carolyn) and Jacqueline Rahn (Greg); and her grandchildren, Matthew, Desiree, Chrissy, Greg Jr., Christopher, Travis, Nicolas, Jacob and Alexander. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Live Oak Baptist Church (103 FM107, Gatesville, TX 76528).
