He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Hartis and Effie Hartis. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Petree; and his son Greg of Gatesville.
A graveside service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Restland Cemetery (2201 Waco St, Gatesville, TX 76528).
