He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Doyle and Martha Eudora Whaley; his sister Carol Gerloff; and his brother-in-law Terry Lam. He is survived by: his wife Pat (Patti Pat); his daughters, Melissa Pruitt (Jeff) and Crystal Whaley; his grandchildren, Tyler Pruitt (Kristen Hutson), Brant Pruitt and Avah Argabright; his great grandchild Hunter Hutson; and his sisters, Dora Ward (Jerald) and Cindy Long (Nelton). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, Butch's family asks that memorials be made to Trinity Baptist Church, 1506 W. Main Street, Gatesville, Texas 76528.
