She was predeceased by: her parents, Francisco Melendez (Rufina Melendez) and Rufina Melendez; her sisters, Florentina Rodriguez, Guadalupe Vela and Maria Ramona Sanchez; her son-in-law Forest Bloodworth; and her granddaughter Ericka Gail Valdez.
She is survived by: her husband Manuel Acosta; her children, Guadalupe Bloodworth, Eulalio Acosta (Melinda), Jesus Manuel Acosta, Irma Valdez (Cesar) and Sylvia Valdez (Diego); her grandchildren, Jessie Acosta (Katy), Elsa Tindell (Aaron), Leslie Heidi Ortega (Nicholas), Jaime Valdez (Jordyn), Oscar Valdez (Arianna), Miguel Valdez (Brittany), Monica Cena (Iran), Diego Valdez Jr. (Angie), Taylor Acosta, Macy Martinez, Mason Wall, Ariana Valdez (Rudy) and Noemi Valdez; and her great grandchildren, Gabriel (Italia), Gavin, Breana, Daniel, Aiden, Raylee and Rylee.
