He was predeceased by: his parents, George Miller and Vera Miller (Toombs); his wife Joy Dell Miller; and his sons-in-law, Roger Dupuy and Jimmy Morton.
He is survived by: his children, Cathie (John Repp) of Lufkin, Ellen Shelton (Debra) of Nacogdoches, Ronnie Smith (Milton Ray, Jr.) of Gary, Moe Miller (Loraine Jodi Miller) of Eunice and Robert (Theresa Miller) of Gilmer; his close friends, Bubba Chambers and Becky Smith; his grandsons, Brandon Ray Shiflet and Cody Hill Miller; and his great great grandchild Jameson Walker. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
