She was predeceased by: her parents, John Ermon "Gotch" and Wanda Mae Nutt Starkey; and her brother Larry Dale Starkey. She is survived by: her husband John Choate; her children, Kimberly Rainey (Joe) of Little Elm, TX, Jerry Dale Thomas (Cindy) of Aransas Pass, TX and Shellie Odum (Junior) of Laneville, TX; her stepdaughters, Amber Ross of Longview, TX and Michelle Reeves (Keith) of Cleveland, TX; and her sisters, Retha Starkey of Gary, TX and Betty Riggs (Wayne) of Gary, TX. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
