He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Balusek and Lena Brownson Balusek; his wife Sybil Ferrell Balusek; his daughter Lou Ann Balusek; and his siblings, Bates Balusek, Annie Sherrill, Edwin Balusek and Alice Hinze.
He is survived by: his daughters, Mary Jean Skow (Kirk) and Carol Frankum (Brad) of El Campo; his grandsons, Bryce Skow (Kaitlyn) of Garwood and Bryan Skow (Courtney Janak Skow) of El Campo; and his great grandchildren, Grant Alton, Brock William, Dane Allen and Ridge Brandon Skow.
Memorial donations in memory of Alton Balusek may be made to the Garwood Volunteer Fire Dept.
