It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Miles of Garrison, Texas, born in Memphis, Tennessee, who passed away on December 30, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Winona Miles; and his parents, Edgar James Miles and Blanche Evelyn Topper Miles. He is survived by: his children, Michael Miles (Kay) of Holly Springs, Kurt Miles (Lynn) of Holly Springs, Texas, Eva Hand (John) of Nacogdoches and Lisa Pavlock (David) of Houston, Texas; and his sisters, Bettye Jaco (Clyde) of Heber Spring, Brenda Tapp of Houston and Cherie Furtado (Curt) of Houston, Texas. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
