She was predeceased by: her grandson Bradley Lee Swearingen; her siblings, Marcille Hogan Smallwood and Homer Slay; her brothers-in-law, Lonnie Hogan and Larry Smallwood; her stepdaughters, Glenda Griffith Moore and Mary Lou Griffith; and her nephews, Wayne Corley and James Henry Kruse.
She is survived by: her daughter Susan Swearingen (Mark) of Garrison; her granddaughter Summer Swearingen (John Durrett) of Shreveport; her nieces, Barbara Corley of Lufkin and Barbara Kruse of Garrison; her great-nephews, Stephen Corley (Amy), Craig Corley (Marian), Lance Kruse (Dusty) and Lane Kruse (Traci); her stepchildren, Mike Griffith (Reba) of Nacogdoches, Jamie Fain (Ferris) of Nacogdoches, Gregg Griffith (Christine) of Nacogdoches and Mark Griffith (Becky) of Burleson; and also, Claire, Clayton, Cole, Tryton, Johna, Ceale, Maya, Madison and Gaynell. She is also survived by Her nieces, nephews, and "bonus" children.
