She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Wiggins and Annie Belle Shumate Wiggins; her husband J. W. Strode; her sisters, Mary Wiggins White and Margie Wiggins Stanfield; her parents-in-law, Buck and Alma Strode; and her friend Steve T. Lee.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry W. Strode (Kathleen), Evelyn K. Sparks (Phil), Donna K. Grigsby (John) and Regina L. Goad (Tommy); and her grandchildren, Brandon Sparks, Daryl Sparks, Eric Sparks, Laurin Hall, J. D. Gambino, Daniel Gambino, Patrick Grigsby, Jay Strode, Matt Strode, Ryan Strode, Kathryn Hanzelka, Whitney Perry, Tyler Goad and Grant Goad. She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren.
