She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Huey T. Taylor and Louise Mc Lemore Taylor; her siblings, Gloria Taylor Bell, Raymond and Sterman Taylor (Duby); and her husband Rudolph L Carr.
She is survived by: her stepson Lafayette Phillips of West Bloomfield; and her nieces and nephews, Latrice Fletcher (Marcus) of Forney, Texas, Alvastine Taylor of Forney, Brenda Bell of Ennis, Darrick Taylor (Betty) of Euless, Raymond Taylor Jr. (Bezora) of Cedar Hill, Huey Brown of Marshall, Sterman Brown (Patricia) of Marshall, Stanley Sneed of Marshall and Johnny Lewis of Ennis Texas. She is also survived by great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and friends.
