It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Lawson D. D. S. Jr. of Garland, Texas, born in Dallas, Texas, who passed away on April 8, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lawson, Sr. and Leona Kirby Lawson; his sister Sharon Lawson; and his brothers-in-law, John Tompros and Lester Hickman, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Diana Hickman Lawson; his grandchildren, Eisley, Jubilee and Lucky Lawson; his siblings, Nancy Tompros, Janice Tullos (Richard) and Guy Lawson (Paula); his sisters-in-law, Susan Ratcliff (Carl) and Suzanne Hickman; and also, William Gregory "Billy" Lawson (Kelly) and Bryan Robert Lawson (Lucy). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Williams Memorial Chapel (1600 S Garland Ave, Garland, TX 75040). A reception will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Williams Bluebonnet Hall (1600 S Garland Ave, Garland, TX 75040).
