She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Connatser and Doris Connatser; her husband Bill Smith; and her brother Billy Connatser. She is survived by: her children, Ginná Jones and Matt Smith (Emma); her granddaughters, Sherry Jones and Ashley Richards; her siblings, Janie Haggard, Nolan Connatser, Mary Capley (Ray) and Mark Connatser (Lisa); and her sister-in-law Nancy Connatser.

A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Merit Cemetery (5359 FM2194, Celeste, TX 75423).
