He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Beryl Critchley Pope; his sister Deborah K Spencer of Newport News, VA; his daughters, Myra Elizabeth Sharp of Rockwall, TX and Debra Scally (Keith) of Mesquite, TX; his grandchildren, Makenzie Elizabeth Creamer (Caleb) of Royse City, TX and Daniel Robert Blakey (Bre) of Greenville, TX; his great grandchild Mary-Evelyn Margaret Blakey of Greenville, TX.; his granddaughter Erica Elizabeth Blakey; his wife Peggy Pope; and his father George Insulin Pope.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the New World United Methodist Church (5134 Northwest Hwy, Garland, TX 75043). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
