He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Francis and Eva Francis; and his siblings, Bill, Charles, Don Francis, Dorothy McGlaughlin and Mildred Kirksey.

He is survived by: his wife Elsie J. Francis; and his grandchildren, Clint Tucker, Christina Dillard, Lauren Avalos, Jonathan Ward, Emery Howell, Logan Sarratt and Drake Sarratt.
