She was predeceased by: her parents, Sarah Gertrude and Jacob Nathaniel Burks; and her sister Hazel Burks Dagle. She is survived by: her daughters, Darlene Sorrels (Larry) and Denece Hodges (DeWayne); her grandchildren, Aaron Sorrels (Lara), Stephanie Foster (Scott) and Allison Leftwich (John); her great grandchildren, Hudson, Harrison, Hayes, Magnolia and George; her sisters, Dee Burks Brennan (Paul) and Joyce Burks Block; and her nieces and nephews, Rick Block (Kim), Eric Dagle (Trish), Lisa Dagle (Johnny), Terri Lammers (David) and Chris Brennan (Elizabeth).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in honor of Martha to the Missions Fund at First Baptist.
