She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Velez and Flora Avilez; her siblings, Mauricio Velez Avilez and Graciela Velez Avilez; and her grandchildren, Alex Solis and Aryam Contreras Solis.
She is survived by: her husband Eliodoro Solis; her daughters, Mirna Arroyo, Mayra Ivonne Solis and Nancy Solis Velez; her grandchildren, Sam, Katherine, Charlie, David, Kassandra, Diana, Heather, Anthony and Cruz; and her great grandchild Bryson. She is also survived by brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and friends.
