With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gustavo Rivera (Garland, Texas), who passed away on April 13, 2025 at the age of 42. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Gustavo has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He is survived by: his wife Mayra; his mother Bernarda; and his sisters, Erika and Blanca.
Viewing will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pilar Funeral Home (650 W Avenue D, Garland, TX 75040). A rosary will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at the Sachse Cemetery (6314 Sachse St, Sachse, TX 75048).
