It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Pruden of Garland, Texas, born in China, Texas, who passed away on February 27, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Jones and Letha Jones. She is survived by: her sons, James Pruden (Lorna) and Gerald Pruden (Rachelle); her grandchildren, Sandra Harline (James), Brandon Pruden (Elizabeth), Elizabeth Ostrander (Chad), Katie Pruden-Damron (Dylan), Alexandria Dawson (Aaron) and John Pruden; her great grandchildren, Avery, Evan Hartline, Mason, Vera and Everet Ostrander; her sister Donna Payne; and her nieces and nephews, Jamie, Sondra, Alan and John.
She loved crafting and was a part of SVUMC crafting group creating crafts for their yearly charity sale.
