He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Thompson Sr. and Ada Campbell-Thompson; his siblings, Curtis Jr., Thuron Ray, Betty Anderson, Mary Potts and Glenda Pettit; his granddaughter Jennifer Thompson; and his great grandchild Alexander Yates.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Sue Thompson; his children, Mitchell (Dorthie Thompson), Lesa (Jessie Yates) and Wesley Thompson; his grandchildren, David, John Thompson, Amanda Thompson-Copeland, Ashley, Brett Yates and Alan Jack Thompson; and his great grandchildren, Makkedah Jo, Jennifer, Jayden, Annevelle, Jackson, Aria, Erin, Emma and Naomi.
