He is survived by: his daughter Sally Rebecka Windham; his siblings, Bill Wilson, Richard Wilson, Dickey Windham and Ruth Flannery; his wife Lavon Windham; his children, John C. Windham (Monica), Don F. Windham, Wendy Danford (Harold) and Sandy Camp (Keith); his grandchildren, Tyler H. Danford and Isabella L.; his sisters, Julia Windham and Barbara Bergin; his wife John C. Windham (Monica); his daughter Tyler H. Danford; his grandchild Julia Windham; and also, Maddison K. Danford and Isabella L.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or to Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children.
