He was predeceased by: his parents, Mike Palanuk and Dorothy Palanuk. He is survived by: his wife Pat; his children, Faith Kennedy (David) and David Palanuk (Ruby); his grandchildren, Ashlyn, Anne, Caylee and Gabriel Jerry; his siblings, Geri Meek (Dean), Tom Palanuk (Mary) and Mike Palanuk; his siblings-in-law, Mary Ehmann (Darcy) and Tim McDermid; and his friend Linda Alexander.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Oakwood Baptist Church (2154 TX-337 Loop, New Braunfels, TX 78130). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery (1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209).
