He was predeceased by: his wife Linda Cypert; his parents, J. T. Cypert and Jonnie Cypert; and his brothers, Calvin Cypert and James Cypert.
He is survived by: his children, Ed Duwain Cypert of Garden City, Richard Cypert of Big Spring and Leasa Lowery (Kenny) of Garden City; his grandchildren, Dylan Lowery (Emily) of Lubbock, Austen Lowery (Katie) of Midland, Ragan Lowery of Abilene and Karson Lowery of Garden City; his great grandchildren, Oliver (Ollie) and Evelyn (Evie); and his siblings, Dennie Cypert (Dawn) of Burnet, Delia Arthur of Gardendale, Sandi Snegireff (Bill) of Scottsdale Arizona, Sharon Ifera (Ray) of Crane and Frances Grisham (Charlie) of Odessa. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
