He was predeceased by: his parents, Gus Tegeler, Sr. and Ella Tegeler; his brother Harry; his niece Pat Tegeler Achley; his brother Wilton Lee (Jeanette); his nephew Jay Tegeler; his brother Gus Tegeler, Jr.; and also Stanley Nelson.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Frances Cernota; his sons, Donnie, Rodney (Ida) and Harlan (Analee); his grandchildren, Clinton Tegeler, Krysta (Jeremy Crist), Scott (Brianna Tegeler), Stefany Schade, Shaye Walston and Ashley (Lloyd Kleiman); his great grandchildren, Colton, Abigail Tegeler, Westley Schade, Brendyn, Dalten, Lysette Walston, Jacob and Samuel Kleiman; his sister Elverna Nelson; and his great grandchildren, Clinton Tegeler, Krysta, Jeremy Crist, Scott, Briana Tegeler, Stefany Schade, Shaye Walston, Ashley and Lloyd Kleiman. He is also survived by 13 nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews.
