She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Kaspar and Vlasta Stavinoha Kaspar; her husband Dan Malcik; and her siblings, Paul Kaspar, Lucille Kaspar Kohrt and Elizabeth Kaspar Hermann.

She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Atzenhoffer (Billy) of Edna and LaWanda Buttner of Galveston; her granddaughters, Melanie Boyer (Wes) of Pearland and Gretchen Cuellar (Mark) of Angleton; her great grandchildren, Zachary Boyer, Natalie Hinze and Melinda Atzenhoffer; and her sister Rose Marie Strnadel. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
