She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfonso Padilla and Jacinta Padilla; her husband Lupe Pena, Sr.; and her son Lupe Pena, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Anita Espinosa of Edna and Angie Pena of Humble. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces.
