He was predeceased by: his parents, Ignacio Alvarez and Petra Alvarez (Arranda); and his siblings, Pamfilo Alvarez, Robert Alvarez (Lois), Pete Alvarez, Frank Alvarez (Linda), Alex Alvarez (Katy), Janie Ramirez and Josie Alvarado.
He is survived by: his friend Ignacio Alvarez, Jr.; his siblings, Mary De Los Santos and Marcus Alvarez (Carmen); his wife Ella (Rosalez); and his sons, Andy (Renee) and Tim (Amber). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws, and cherished friends.
