He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley Spencer and Lucille Spencer; and his brother Stanley. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia; his children, Harley (Ashley), Jennifer and Jeremy (Karen); his grandchildren, Donovan, Riley, Claire, Ian, Ryan and Colin; and his siblings, Rodney and Sheila (Bob).

In lieu of flowers the family would prefer donations on Harley's behalf to two charities that were important for him.
