It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gary Skalicky of Ganado, Texas, born in El Campo, Texas, who passed away on May 31, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph J. Skalicky and Anna Michaelsen Skalicky (Michaelsen); and his parents-in-law, Herbert L. Wilson and Neva Ellison Wilson. He is survived by: his son Michael Wayne Skalicky; his wife Nelwyn Wilson Skalicky; his daughter-in-law Kristin Skalicky; his granddaughters, Mikaela of Ganado and Kamryn Skalicky of Ganado; his sisters, Gloria Damborsky of Edna, Judy Waits of Ganado and Donna Cook; and his siblings-in-law, Jim Cook of Colorado, Lennis Smith of Wharton, Gatha Wilson of El Campo, Glenna Ferrell and Weldon Ferrell of East Bernard. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
