We are sad to announce that on August 14, 2023, at the age of 76, Diego Cortez in Ganado, Texas, born in Victoria, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Refugio Cortez and Margaret Hernandez Cortez; his wife Nancy Cortez; his daughter Swan Cortez Flores; and his sister Margaret DeLeon (Minerva Cortez).
He is survived by: his children, Diego Cortez, Jr. (Tammy), George Cortez, Rene Cortez (Margaret), Ronnie Cortez (Stacey), Michael Cortez (Alicia), Amanda Delgado (Ysabel) and Brandy Duenez (Geoffrey); and his siblings, Refugio Cortez, Jr., Jessie D. Cortez, Arthur Cortez, Arnold Cortez and Clara Irene Cortez. He is also survived by 28 grandchildren as well as great and great great grandchildren.
