She was predeceased by: her parents, Vicente Herrera and Belen Lopez Herrera; and her sister Maria Luisa Lopez. She is survived by: her husband Jose Cortes; and her children, Gricelda Almaraz (Ricardo), Mireya Cortes Herrera, Maria Almeda, Salomon Cortes, Misail Cortes (Molisa), Jesus Cortes (Araceli), Billy Cortes (Brittani), Fernando Cortes and David Cortes (Lisa). She is also survived by 29 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
