He is survived by: his wife Ida Francine Carrubi Byrd; his children, Dee Byrd Sharretts (Greg), Dana Byrd Hand (Jim), Stacy Wayne Byrd (Devra), Kyle Albright Jr. (Shannon) and Tommy Oglesby Jr.; his brother Dennis Paul Byrd Sr. (Denise); his nephew Dennis Paul Byrd Jr. (Michelle); his niece Ashley Byrd; his grandchildren, Dr. Matthew Hand (Abbie), Dr. Kristen Wermager (Chad), Benjamin Hand (Megan), Logan Hand (Tamara), Dr. Ian Smith (Jessica), Lauren Desormeaux (Reggie), Mallory, Dallas McClarty, Patrick Albright, Kelton and Elora Oglesby; his great grandchildren, Bailey, Drew Desormeaux, Violet, Emery Wermager, Quinn Hand, Tyson McClarty, Camryn and Clark Smith; and his friend Kay Rekoff.
