Violeta D. Sergent Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 16, 2024, at the age of 82, Violeta D. Sergent of Galveston, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Magdalena Hurtado and George Martinez; and her son Daniel John Yeager. She is survived by: her sons, Randal Patrick Yeager of LaPorte and Raymond Carlisle Sergent III of Galveston; her siblings, Queta, Anita Robb, Maria Wheeler, George Martinez Jr. and Mark Hurtado; and her granddaughter Cecily Sergent. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Malloy Funerals & Cremations (3028 Broadway Avenue J, Galveston, TX 77550). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family requests you to donate to any organization that supports dogs and cats, such as the SPCA or Galveston Humane Society to reflect Viola's love for all animals.
