He was predeceased by: his parents, Eufracia Vega (Gonzalez) and Carlos Vega. He is survived by: his children, Dr. Leticia Vega, Alexia Brown (Gregg) and Victor JC Vega; his former wife Tibisay Saldana; and his grandchildren, Katelyn Lau (Blake), Kristina Brown, Reagan Skrabanek and Hannah Skrabanek.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Carnes Brothers Funeral Home (1201 23rd St, Galveston, TX 77550). A rosary was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (1328 Broadway Avenue J, Galveston, TX 77550). A graveside service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Calvary Cemetery (2506 65th St, Galveston, TX 77551).
