He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall Toussant and Maggie Lee Thompson Toussant; his sister Shirley Thompson-Cato; his niece Natalie T. Smith; and his siblings-in-law, Andrea Toussant and Coleman James Edwards (Gabby).
He is survived by: his sons, Robert Marshall Toussant Jr. (Kristen) and Jalen D. Toussant; his stepson Rodrick Brussard; his grandchildren, Prince, Amir Toussant and Peyton Johnson; his siblings, Lawrence Toussant, Dorothy Edwards and Patsy Dotson (Dwayne); and his close friend Wilbert Jones (Pig).
