He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew Murray and Dorothea Murray; his wife Patsy (Patsy); his son Robert Moore Murray, Jr.; and his sister Helen Murray Blackshear.
He is survived by: his children, Steve Murray of Galveston and Kate Murray; his sons-in-law, John Caldwell (CiCi Newkirk) of San Angelo and Kevin Newkirk of Friendswood; and his caregivers, Tina Suell and Shaneeka Davis. He is also survived by his children and later his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Trinity Episcopal Church (2216 Avenue H, Galveston, TX 77550).
It was Bob's wish that any memorial tributes be made in the form of charitable donations to Trinity Episcopal Church.
