With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nancy Carol Horton (Galveston, Texas), born in Sherman, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 20, 2025 at the age of 77. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Robert Horton (Charlotte), Michael Horton and Valerie Horton (Stephen Garey); her grandchildren, Robert, John Garey, Dustin Blau, Grace Horton, Emma Horton-Leonard and Olivia Horton-Leonard; her great grandchildren, Launa Blau, Trey, Lyla and Waylon Garey; her siblings, Margaret Henson, Laura Swain, Sara Carroll and Joe Mullikin; her parents, Goldie Mullikin and Harry Mullikin; her pet Toots; and also Little Diddle.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Malloy Funerals & Cremations (3028 Broadway Avenue J, Galveston, TX 77550). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Lighthouse Charities (6918 Broadway St, Galveston, TX 77554).
