Though Mirta may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Mirta touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Rogelio Salinas and Elida Salinas; her husband Raul Salinas; her daughters, Mirzza Salinas and Iza Tonelli (Filipe); and her siblings, Rene Salinas (Dionicia), Roy Salinas (Fermina), David Salinas (Ninett), Edna Valdez, Irma Gonzales and Mirna Benavides.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Island Church (2411 69th St, Galveston, TX 77551). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery (2506 65th St, Galveston, TX 77551).
