He is survived by: his wife Doris Kostelecky; his children, Joseph A. Moore of LaPorte, Indiana and Marie Kostelecky of Conroe, Texas; his sister Kim Rosencran of Quincy, Illinois; his grandchildren, Joseph Moore, III of San Diego, Audrey Tucker of Michigan City, Alissa Kilbourn of Galveston, Juliana Kilbourn of LaPorte and Royce Kilbourn, Jr. of Conroe, Texas; his great grandchild Eren Hoggatt of LaPorte, Texas.; and his close friends, Rick Downard and Joe Puma.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (1010 35th St, Galveston, TX 77550). A rosary was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
The family is requesting that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any local food pantry or Salvation Army.
