It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Margaret Ann Carr of Galveston, Texas, born in Tuscumbia, Alabama, who passed away on August 18, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Brown and Margaret DeGraw; her brothers, Virgil, Bockey, Joe and Robert; her sons, Johnny Sireno and William "Billy" Carr; and her pet Monty.

She is survived by: her children, Anna Dudley (Earl), James "Jimbo" Carr, Shirley Newell, Donna Agrella (James) and David Carr; and her grandchildren, Brad Newell, III (Simone), Ajah Ochoa (Greg), Charlie Newell (Sierra), Eric Dudley (Chae), Amanda Newell, Jessica Randle (Aubrey), Tiffany Carr, Kaleb Carr (Annie) and Taylor Carr (Natalie).

In lieu of flowers you, donations may be made to the Galveston Island Humane Society.
