With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Lorna May of Galveston, Texas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Lorna left this world on March 26, 2025 at the age of 84, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Lorna may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Lorna touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Lavespere and Mildred Cobb Lavespere. She is survived by: her husband Jim May; her daughter Courtney (Jacob); and her grandchildren, Christian (Missy Somerville), Makayla Somerville and Madison Somerville.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Elks Lodge (1512 23rd St, Galveston, TX 77550).
